Tobi is 22, from Switzerland, and happiest when he’s on the move. On foot, by bike, in the mountains, or simply in his mind.
He likes things long, far, real, and outdoors.
At 16, he became Swiss mountain running champion.
At 18, he travelled alone across all of Europe by bike and on foot. All 44 countries, every capital, every highest peak.
Unmotorized, as always. With curiosity, endurance, and the quiet belief that somehow, things always work out in the end.
Somewhere in between, he studied at ETH Zurich.
Successfully, though not with too much enthusiasm.
Because what really interests him is rarely written in a lecture script; it happens out there, on the way.
Today, he stands not only on summits, but also on stages.
His talks have reached over 15,000 people, why exactly, even he isn’t quite sure.
In 2024, he climbed the highest peak of all 26 Swiss cantons in just three weeks.
The film about the journey, Gipfeli of Switzerland, is part of the European Outdoor Film Tour (EOFT) 2025, screening in 15 countries across Europe.
Tobi is a mountain lover, storyteller, and adventurer who feels most at home somewhere between wild landscapes and open horizons.
